EKOFUNGI has used their expertise in the field to design up to date training programs on the best way to go when learning how to grow mushrooms. Through these courses, EKOFUNGISCHOOL offers a perfect model for connecting research with practice: sharing, spreading, and disseminating the most advanced scientific results and their application. EKOFUNGI school has a strong scientific base as well as a learning by doing approach.

During the Winter of 2021-2022, the calendar of educational activities was very active, gathering local groups and entrepreneurs from foreign countries like Kazakhstan, Reunion Island, France, and England to take part and engage in different training programs. Trainees come from different professional and educational backgrounds; however, they share a common interest for the protection of the environment.

The training programs hold here a double purpose: on the hand, trainees get the chance to learn from the EKOFUNGI mushroom business model; on the other, a growing network of relevant stakeholders develops.

The BIOSCHAMP project will make the most of the network and dissemination opportunities, connections and training programs developed by EKOFUNGI:
