BIOSCHAMP in the EU Green Week 2024
The 30th May, at 12:30 CET, we will join in an online free Info Day high-end representatives of research, industry and policy. In this Info Day, we will discuss how growing white button mushrooms is a great example of sustainable water use and food production. BIOSCHAMP will present their scope and findings, and dive into their impact on water resilience. Plus, a panel of experts will discuss about the synergies promoting between mushroom production and a water-resilient society.
The EU Green Week: when and where awareness grows
Each year, the EU selects a flagship environmental topic and organizes a set of events to raise awareness among different stakeholders: the EU Green Week.
2024’s edition puts the spotlight on water resilience: the ability to overcome stressful situations (such as droughts or floods), and the adoption of systems that prevent and deal with said stresses.
