BIOSCHAMP celebrates #EuropeanMushroomDay 2023!

European Mushroom Day celebrates the diversity and importance of fungi, especially those that produce mushrooms. It is held every year on the fourth Saturday of September, which falls on September 2023. The day was initiated by a German popular-scientific journal called “Der Tintling” in 2016. The day’s main goal is to raise awareness of the role of fungi in nature and human society and promote the hobby of mushroom hunting and identification.

European Mushroom Day is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the fascinating world of fungi and to appreciate their ecological and cultural significance.
